So there I was 2nd or 3rd week of BCT, as per normal procedure everyone has that guy in their BCT cycle. We will call this guy Private B. He scored probably as high as you can on the asvab (that was the word on the street.) As per standard normal BCT operating procedure fireguard was a thing. Private B while doing the rounds counting persons and weapons decided that it would be funny to tickle the PG at the time; while he was sleeping in his rack. Because of this, Private B was ordered to write a song about being the tickle monster and how you better watch out with fireguard is creeping about. This was followed by a performance which was conducted in front of the whole of the company 1SG and Commander included, most of the company was confused and disgusted. 1st Platoon however was rolling on the ground laughing.
Second story,
So there I was BCT part of out nightly procedure was having the trainees count off on their way in the building as such soldiers can’t count for shit and we needed to make it to 60. After screwing this up a few times DS M decided that since we were wasting his time and needed to go back to kindergarten to learn to count, So he decide that he could use the soldiers to simulate what he’d rather be doing. So to achieve this us trainees were ordered to report to the beach it was out small yet effect sand pit we had positioned in the rear of the building. Once there DS M sat in is chair at one end and privates were instructed to low crawl from end to end of the beach to simulate the ocean washing in and out and he wanted his waves to sound off as such.
