Story #2183

So having just gotten out of basic a few weeks ago I can say the funniest thing was what happened to PVT K. Now no one liked PVT K at all, he was known as the Keebler elf and somehow managed to get under everyone in the platoons skin. Anyways he was becoming a holdover and got a red cross letter from his mom saying his grandmother was dying or something. So around week 2 of white phase he went home on a one week emergency leave. Well, he was supposed to come back on a Sunday. That particular Sunday one of our DS, DS T was on CQ. He walked into the bay and asked if PVT K had come back. When we told him he had not I don’t think I had ever seen him happier. He even treated us good that day which was a bit strange for him in white phase. Anyways fast forward to Gold Phase. We found out that he was hiding at his mom’s house the whole time. His mom had faked that his grandma was dying so he could go home. One of the guys in our platoon who lived near him said his mom had saw PVT K on the news walking out of the courthouse down there. We heard he is now sitting comfy behind bars.
